What You Don't Know, Can't Hurt You

I'm always a little cautious when I stay at a hotel. I put a towel over my pillow, I take the comforter off and just sleep with the sheets, I've brought Lysol on some occasions, to spray things down.

But this...this is nuts.

I don't want to see the stains on the furniture or toilet seat! I'm assuming that the maids have done their job and would prefer to think that most things are clean. But to do a "CSI Investigation" on the room...you'd drive yourself to insanity.

Bienvenido

LaVor's younger brother came home from his mission today. It's unbelievable that it's already been 2 years. Time sure does fly.

While we were waiting, we ran into the Oakland Mission President and his wife. There were 22 new missionaries on the same flight as Brett, coming to our mission. Their 2 years have just begun.

Brett's a great baseball player. Notice what was in his carry on bag.

WWF

During my freshman year of high school, I had a boy in my English class that was obsessed with "The Rock". Everyday when he'd get to class, he'd stand in the doorway and say, "Do you smell what the Rock is cooking?" One day, without even thinking, I said, "Yeah, and it stinks." The class thought I was hilarious and the kid never said it again.

For some reason tonight, the following words came out of my mouth...

"And that's the bottom line...cause Stone Cold said so."

My brother, Tommy, loved Stone Cold. That was his (Tommy's) signature phrase for a while. It made me giggle when LaVor reminded me of that tonight.

Next Trip?

I've never had a desire to go to Oregon...until now.

Pine State Restaurant
...hopefully we'll be meeting soon.

The "Reggie" is what got me drooling, minus the gravy, maybe some ranch dressing.

Tally Marks

My sister-in-law dropped by tonight and gave me the cutest shirt...

I've been contemplating this last week on whether or not I would continue training and participate in the walk. I have pro's and con's for each side and have been thinking about last years walk, non-stop. It was such an amazing experience.

This shirt has added another point to the "pro" side.
