When I'm 64

I can't help but sing this song...

when I see this picture...I was browsing the patterns in the fabric section at Wal*Mart tonight, I saw this and literally laughed out loud.

I'm aware they have "adult bibs" since I bought one for my chef who constantly had chocolate on her chefs coat. But to make them into a tux, a table cloth, Mrs. Claus?! I don't want to get old. People will think they can dress me up and use me as their joke. Just . like . I'm . doing . right. now.

A Success!

  • 2 Saturdays
  • Hundreds of items donated
  • 2 Jibbley Girls
  • 5 helpers
  • 7 signs
  • 1 heck of an outcome
My mom and I each "hosted" a garage sale to earn funds for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.

We earned more than we had expected...which is great! We're both super excited and grateful for all of the help, donations and support we received. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Will The Blog Stalkers Please Stand Up

We're all guilty of it...it's OK!

As I was browsing random blogs tonight, I decided to click on a link to a photographers website.

I notice a picture on their main page...and I seem to recognize this person.

I'll take you back 10 years (yikes!) when I was 15 and I spent far too much time online. I met a boy...Travis...from Washington. He was in a band (Not Even Close) and was somewhat famous. He was in "10 Things I Hate About You" for a second. Watch the following video...he's the first trumpet player at 1 minute, 8 seconds.

So back to tonight. I click on the "wedding" section of the photographer's portfolio and sure enough, it says, "Travis & Jaqui."

This world is small...really small! I'm sure we've all come across blogs where you see someone you know on a random persons blog and think, "oh wow! They know each other!" But this...this is a little too "Twilight Zone" for me.

News To Me

As I was flipping through a magazine today (work was slow, the mail had just been delivered and I only did it for about a minute) I came across something I had never seen before.

Since I only did the browsing for a minute, that didn't allow me to really investigate what I was looking at. At first sight, it appears to be a masculine napkin and my mind immediately went to Big Black and his manpon.

But when I got home and googled "Tena" it appears to be a product for bladder weakness. WHICH, I haven't had to deal with but with the amount that I "hold it" I may have to take it into condsideration.

It's a serious matter (I'm sure) but I still say they're pads for men.

Double L

Last weekend, while we were in San Francisco, LaVor left his legacy everywhere we went. Throughout the week, he's continued to spread the wealth.

Have you experienced his legacy?
