As we were walking in Central Park, I saw this...
It was exactly like the movie! I got excited and wanted to get closer.
We made it to the front door...again, just like the movie!
Now for the real excitement...the amazing lobby! You'll have to see the movie to really know what I'm talking about. We go through the revolving door (just like Rose & Sadie) and this is what we saw...
I heard a big "womp, womp, womp" in my head. Whoa! Nothing like the movie!
If I had done a google search before our trip, my dreams would not have been shattered.
"The interior Plaza Hotel scenes were filmed on soundstages in MGM Studios, Florida."
I was even looking forward to ordering a mint julep...minus the bourbon.

I love that movie. Sounds like you guys had a fun trip.
Well that just makes me want to cry. (and it also reminds me of silly sleepovers at your house, which doesn't make me want to cry, just makes me miss ya!)
